Photo Gallery: Congressman Palazzo didn’t show up to a town hall, so Hattiesburg residents held a protest instead

Around 50 Hattiesburg residents showed up on February 25th to protest 4th District Congressman Steven Palazzo’s refusal to hold any town halls to take questions from his constituents since his first election to Congress in 2010. Originally organized as a town hall meeting with an invitation extended to Palazzo to attend, the meeting morphed into a protest against the Congressman and various Trump administration policies he has supported since the election.

Featured speakers included Raylawni Branch, who was the University of Southern Mississippi’s first black student.
